Mauricio Víquez Gonzalez studied gastronomy at the National Learning Institute (INA) and has now 15 years of experience. He first started to work at the Costa Rica Marriott hotel for 7 years as a kitchen assistant. He then became a supervisor at the Antigua Restaurant. He then began a new gastronomic adventure when he was appointed chef of the French embassy in Costa Rica, where he has been practicing since 2014. He is a chef committed to his ideals and always willing to contribute his knowledge and help young cooks.
